Introduction to the Raptor Center and Our History
2018
Hillsborough County approached for use of Golden Aster Preserve for rehab
2019
Hillsborough County had us tour English Creek – After Hurricane Irma building was condemned due to mold. Culvert and board walk were broken.
2020
Mosaic had us tour a property off of Grange Hall Loop – no water, no sewer, no road, no electricity.
2024
Duke Energy offered us a spot at their Hines energy plant.
2025
after 3 major storms Duke reorganized and could no longer commit to help build the center.
The mission of the Raptor Center of Tampa Bay continues to evolve.
2026
Publish our book “I Can Save the Planet.”
There is so much work to do. We are thankful for the time and resources that our board, members, volunteers and donors contribute to The Raptor Center of Tampa Bay. We hope that you will join us in our future endeavors to advance the work to Save the Planet.
